This one's a bit of inside baseball: the schools have a distribution list called "WPS-All" which goes to all employees and administrators and to many past employees.
It does not got to everyone who has an "@worc.k12.ma.us" email address. Specifically, it excludes the Worcester School Committee.
We've got a debate going back and forth here: admin wants to create an "events" list, whereas several school committee members just want us added to the list (as we could use the HR and such when people call us to express concern).
We're getting an event list and we're getting a legal opinion on being added to "WPS-All" from the City Solicitor.
I should also note here what Brian O'Connell pointed out in his comments on this: that these are public documents.
