While last night was the first of the community meetings on the possible redesign of WPS, there are plenty more to come! Tomorrow night's meeting is at Burncoat High School.
Unfortunately, there's still a mixed message coming from the administration. These are "community meetings" but they've been poorly advertised. They are "the beginning of the conversation" but there's a presentation on changes that administration wants to make, and no notes being taken on community suggestions. There is "nothing decided" but there's a schedule of changes to be made.
And community pushback was not welcomed or taken politely last night.
