DESE is proposing two additional changes in response to public comment; the proposed final regulations are here
This again is coming out of the changes to competency determination
I am not going to type again what this is about; you can find that in my notes from October
Summary of comments:
- permit districts to include seal insignia and/or a line of text stating the student earned the seal and in which language it was earned
- require not only reporting annually from districts, but also the specific languages and if students earned more than one
