Two quick things on the WPS FY17 budget from F&O

• In the discussion of the audit, the 2% that City Manager Augustus is setting as the city-side grant rate on WPS grants will be recommended by administration for school committee acceptance. This will clean up the annual "you don't agree on the grant rate finding" and personally, I think it's still too high, but grumble, grumble, grumble...
• Nurse coverage will, it appears, be part of the FY17 budget coming out later this week; this was mentioned as part of the third quarter budget report. As the difficulties of nursing coverage being paid for when nurses are out sick has been an ongoing issue in WPS budgets, good thing.
