Question from Woodland Academy taskforce:
Councilor Haller and the taskforce would like more ELL instructors at Woodland Academy in Main South.
2 ELL instructors for over 200 students, an overwhelming number.
"the need is great...no way the students are being serviced to become successful"
Parents are not themselves bilingual, can't advocate for themselves.
"it isn't right or fair" to have this percentage
"We need the School Committee to provide more teachers, more certified teachers, to help all of us
