began teaching at Chandler Elementary in 1963 as a reading specialist
"here tonight because I'm feeling terrible...I don't like what is happening"
"serious and unfair scapegoating of two of our principals"
I didn't blog what I said, but I should mention that my first comment was to ask if the principals had been fired. The superintendent said that they had not, that they could not stay in the buildings under the terms of a school improvement grant, that as far as she was concerned they had a future in the district.
what does it do the children to pull this leader out from under them
"a travesty...afraid it will continue until we the community step up and take control and responsibility for OUR Worcester Public Schools"
should be willing to discuss the real issues facing our urban schools..."there are more measures than an MCAS to measure our children"
"much of Secretary Duncan's hard sell...needs to be questioned by segments of the educational community"
"all education interests should" ask questions
"this bully-driven reform"
