- The Board of Ed meets on Tuesday. You can find their agenda here. The MCAC/PARCC preliminary state results will be released at their Monday night meeting. Tuesday, they'll recap that, plus update on Holyoke and Level 5 schools, continue their discussion on science standards, release a report on time on testing (which I don't buy), vote on the autism endorsement for teachers, vote on the change in charter regs (this is changing which years of data are considered for district expansion), update on the Foundation Budget Review Commission and the FY17 (already!) budget. Yes, I plan to attend and blog about it.
- Also Tuesday, the Worcester School Committee standing committee on Teaching, Learning, and Student Supports is meeting. The agenda for that is here. Looks like some agenda clean up of old items we've largely dealt with.
- On Wednesday, we're having a special meeting of the full School Committee at 5:00. This is to go through two things: the School Committee section of the policy handbook, and the setting of School Committee goals for this year.
- Following that meeting, Governance is meeting.
The Board of Ed is back in Malden; all other meetings are on the fourth floor of the Durkin Administration Building.
