About those School Improvement plans

A couple of good things to look at on SIG funds and plans:

• Most of the money from our SIG grants for our Level 4 schools is going for the state required extended learning time. Worth reading is this column on extended day.
• Hechinger has a good round-up on where the money's going, the extent to which it's making any difference, and what happens next.

I was asked last week "What happens when the money goes away?" I don't have an answer to that.
