O'Connell asks how many positions that would leave us having lots...Allen: if it were only teachers, we'd add teachers...it would not reduce any positions at all if we were to put them in the salaries
School Committee account which is $87,000 for the salaries of the six members
O'Connell moves approval
Out of state travel funded at zero
In state travel approved

yes
Unemployment:
O'Connell: in light of the approval of the contract...what would be the dollar impact if we brought back everyone?
Allen: this account did have the settlement agreement built in...still using 39 long-term subs, who are eligible for long term
Does still include 20 IAs
can be reduced by 70,000 now...80,000 from IAs
O'Connell: assumes they collect the 99 weeks? No, assumes historical usage
Allen: not all positions are eligible for the federal extension, used 40% collecting
reduced by a minimum of $70,000, potential for $80,000 assuming the IAs settle on the model of the teachers agreement
O'Connell wants to reduce by $150,000
Monfredo wants to know if we can hold off on this for another week...may be additional savings
Foley supports reducing by 70,000...hates to be too presumptuous

additional savings
Novick: motion to $111,600 from unemployment to non-instructional support
Mullaney: does not want to commit to allocation of the money, has no problem with cutting either amount of money
O'Brien: take some money out and set it aside...see what other resources avaliable
Mullaney wants to know if there are other priorities out there from administration
O'Brien points out that additional settlements might allow for other priorities
Foley: cut and park it...waiting for final approval...could go for greater amount set aside it
Novick withdraws her motion, supports O'Connell's
$150,000 set aside pending the next meeting
O'Brien asks if we could have a memo of how much money we have after we restore the teachers
