- Henry Braun, currently Professor of Education and Public Policy at BC, formerly of Educational Testing Service (home of the GRE)
- Gary Cook, Associate Scientist at the University of Wisconsin, formerly of Harcourt Assessment
- Jim Dueck, Assistant Deputy Minister of Accountability and Reporting, Province of Alberta
- Scott Marion, VP, National Center for Improvement in Ed Assessment, who had been appointed to advise the previous presidential administration on assessment
- Jeff Nelhaus, Commissioner of Ed, Massachusetts (referred to on the MA DoE website as the "MCAS guy" as he was the director of testing when the MCAS was implimented)
- Lauress Wise, Principal Scientist, HumRRO

"MCAS has received some modicum of success"
summative, benchmark, and formative assessment
he thinks it's necessary to release half of the items of each summative assessment (which would be like publishing half the MCAS questions each year)
urging online delivery of assessment exams
He's also pushing hard for teacher involvement at all levels of assessment
