At last night's school committee meeting, the following estimates were given on the possible impact of Question 1 on the Worcester Public Schools, should it pass next Tuesday:

$70 million lost, leading to:

• closure of 20 elementary schools
• class sizes of 40 students
• the end of all athletic and fine arts programs
